MUG 2019 Charitable Iniative

The Mandell Multiple Sclerosis Center

Thank you to everyone with the MISER Users Group who contributed to the 2019 MUG Charitable Initiative at the 2019 MUG Conference. Thanks to the generosity of our members, we raised $740 during that time. Thanks to everyone who took a chance during the ring-toss game,

Then-Chairman Jay Constantino selected the Mandell Multiple Sclerosis Center in Connecticut as the 2019 MUG Charitable initiative. In 1999, Jay’s wife, Cindy, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She has been in treatment since then with multiple neurologists, multiple pharmaceuticals, and multiple treatments.

In December of 2013, The Mandell MS Center was officially recognized as a Center for Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Care through the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Partners in MS Care program. This formal recognition honors The Mandell MS Center’s commitment to exceptional patient care; its provision of coordinated, comprehensive MS care; and its continuing partnership with the MS Society to address the challenges of people affected by MS. There are just over 6,000 MS patients in Connecticut and The Mandell MS Center serves 3,000 of them.

MUG members can still make checks payable to the Saint Francis Foundation and put the Mandell MS Center in the memo line. You can also visit to make a credit card donation. Thank you for your consideration!
