MUG 2021 was a huge success!

MUG 2021 Schedule
MUG 2021 Conference Presentations

In spite of many obstacles such as corporate travel restrictions, without any on-site presence from FIS, MUG held its Annual Conference on Sept. 26-29, 2021 at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater Beach. Forty-three MUG members and guests joined 12 exhibitors for learning and fellowship centered on the MISER system. With a combination of remote session from FIS executives and panels with users, including two with vendor panelists, attendees were able to share information and practices that help all of us. “Thank you for a great conference. We had a smaller group but engagement was inspiring,” said one attendee. “This was my first MUG Conference. I had always heard they were great and brought a lot of value to our organization. I know this was a smaller conference than usual but I really think the smaller venue allowed participants to interact with vendors and other users better. Thank you for a great time!,” enthused another. Our Sunday night welcoming dinner, sponsored by FIS, and the Tuesday night MUG party, sponsored by Unisys and Burroughs, took place outside in beautiful weather.

We have also posted results so far of the survey of what products our members employ, either with FIS or outside vendors, for key systems at each institution. If you haven’t contributed your data, please do so in order to make the information as robust as possible.

The Executive Committee is already starting to think about plans for the 2022 meeting. If you have session ideas or questions you would like answered, please contact us at [email protected] to share you ideas. See you next year!
